Week of Dec 9th
This has been a busy week getting ready for the Christmas Concert. We can't wait for you to see the show!
In our classroom this week we have been working on the following:
Math: applying our addition and subtraction skills to solving word problems
Social Studies: we chose 1 animal from India and have been doing research about that animal. Later in the week we are going to use Adobe Spark to create in infographic about our animal like you would see at the zoo.
Writing: we brainstormed ideas about what we would see at Santa's workshop then wrote a paragraph titled, 'On my trip to the North Pole'
Reminders:
- The doors for the Concert will open at 4:30 on Wednesday. Students will come to the classroom first, then if they are an actor and/or in choir, they will move to their designated meeting spot. The concert will start promptly at 5:00. After the show, please come to the classroom to meet up with your child.
- Choir students are going on their field trip on Monday. Please ensure all forms are returned and you have paid the fee online. Please contact Mrs Bourgeois with any questions.
