Today in class we learned about India. We discussed the differences between schools in India and schools in Canada. We learned that India has a LOT more people than Canada but is a much smaller country. In 2018, Canada had about 37,000,000 people and India had 1,339,000,000 people!
In math we learned a new game to practice our mental math for addition and reviewed place value up to 1000.
We also learned a Word Scramble game where we tried to make as many different words as possible from the secret word: raindrops.
In Literacy, we took a spelling assessment that will be used to make groups to practice spelling rules we are still working on.
We also continued working on our Identity Grids in our Visual Journals. Ask me about the images I chose for my grid that best describe my identity.
