Today during Literacy students were asked to write about a time they felt anticipation. The students came up with a wide range of ideas, from upcoming family trips, to birthday parties, to waiting for a new family member to arrive. Students picked a time they felt anticipation and wrote a short paragraph explaining what they were feeling anticipation about and describing how they felt and what they did to prepare for the event. Some students will have their literacy books in their Home Communication folders because they did not finish the writing in class and will need to complete the activity at home. Please allow your child to spend 10-15 minutes working on their writing to complete 3-4 good sentences about their memory of anticipation. If the book is not in their folder, it means they completed the writing in class.
